A city court today sent all four persons accused in the alleged gangrape of a woman working along with them in the Railways to seven days' police remand.

The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) of Sealdah Court granted police custody of all the four accused on a plea by the prosecution for their interrogation till August two.

While three of the accused - Jeet, Manish and Gajendra - were arrested during the day yesterday, the fourth one Raju was arrested late last night, the police said.

"The fourth accused was arrested from Ghola in North 24-Parganas district last night," Superintendent of Railway police (Sealdah) Utpal Naskar told PTI.

The woman in her complaint alleged that the four co-workers had gangraped her for days together and the GRP Sealdah in a quick action arrested all four of them.

The victim, a married woman, had lodged an FIR with Dum Dum GRP yesterday accusing four co-workers of Chitpur railyard in the city of gangraping her on several occasions inside the railyard.

"They have been gangraping me for the last few years and whenever I have asked them to stop they have threatened to upload pictures of the gangrape on internet. They had also threatened to kill me," the victim said in her complaint.

The victim, who had lost her husband in Gyaneshwari train accident in 2010, got a job in the Railways as a part of compensation package then.

She alleged that the four tormentors used to molest her and then commit gangrape on her inside a vacant railway compartment parked in Chitpore railway yard.
