Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan police has arrested four persons for impersonating in police constable and Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examinations, a senior official said here today.
Police constable examination were held on July 14 and 15 and SSC examination yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the four accused yesterday evening when they were waiting to board buses for New Delhi after appearing in the examinations, said ADG (ATS and SOG) Umesh Mishra.
The arrested accused includes Pramod Kumar Yadav, Vinay Kumar and Avnish Kumar, all three hailing from Bihar, and Chetram Meena of Rajasthan's Alwar district, he said.
A large number of admit cards of SSC, civil defence and constable recruitment examinations were also recovered from their possession apart from photographs, driving licences and photo ID cards of candidates and OMR sheets.
Mishra said that investigation has been initiated after registering a case against the accused.
A team has been sent to arrest kingpin of the inter-state examination impersonation racket that in the past had facilitated candidates in passing FCI, DDA, Metro, SBI and UP police recruitment exams, he added.
