Four suspected drug traffickers were arrested and 8 kgs of opium was seized from them near Lower Tank Bund here today, the police said.
On credible information, the Commissioner's Task Force (Central Zone Team) nabbed DVV Satyanarayana, Netala Rabbi, Y Srihari Krishana, and A Ravi Prakash.
The sleuths seized opium from their possession when they were allegedly planning to sell it to customers, a release from the Hyderabad Police said.
They were handed over to Gandhi Nagar police station. Further probe is on.
