The deaths were reported from Asha Kiran facility from January one. While one of the deaths -- that of the 12-year-old girl -- was reported today, the other was reported two days ago and the remaining cases came to light nine days ago.

According to government officials, the 12-year-old girl died of cardiac arrest and other ailments. Earlier, a 18-year-old boy had died in the same facility.

Nine days ago, two persons -- a 41-year-old and 47-year- old -- died due to health-related issues.

Officials said Social Welfare Minister Kiran Walia has instructed transfer of around 200 inmates to another facility in Narela in the next few months. Another 100 may be shifted to Nirmal Chaya.
