Three girls and a boy, all aged between 11 and 13 years, drowned today after they accidentally fell into a well in Tiruvallur district, police said.
The four had gone to take bath this afternoon when the incident occurred, a senior police official said.
As they had not returned home for a long time, their parents went in search of them and found the bodies floating in the well at Tirutanni, he said.
The bodies were recovered and shifted to Government hospital, Tiruttani, for an autopsy.
A case has been registered.
