Four persons died today and 15 others were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in collided head on with a truck near Patangi More in Nawada district here, police said.
The vehicle carrying 24 members of a marriage party was on way to Hisua Noiagari from Akbarpur Tanti village when it collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction, Rajauli Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Birender Kumar Sahu said.
The bodies have been sent to Nawada Sadar Hospital for post-mortem, the DSP said.
The driver of the truck managed to flee with the vehicle, he added.
