Four killed, 19 hurt in road mishap at Osmanabad

Four persons were killed and 19 others injured, two of them seriously, in a road accident today near Chorakhali village here, police said.

The mishap took place around 10.30 AM on the Aurangabad-Solapur road near the village when a heavy container collided with a state transport bus leaving four occupants, including the bus driver, dead on the spot, they said.

The injured passengers have been admitted to the district civil hospital here. Two critically wounded persons, including Zila Parsihad member Nanasaheb Jadhvar, have been referred to Solapur for treatment, RMO Dr Chanchala Bodke said.

The deceased have not been identified yet except for driver Dilip Doke, police said.
