Four persons of a family, hailing from Andhra Pradesh, on their way to Shirdi, were today killed when a tree fell on their car, police said.
The freak incident occurred on Yeola-Shirdi road when the deceased were heading to Shirdi after getting down at Nagarsol railway station, they said.
Police said that incessant rains and strong winds might have uprooted the tree alongside the road.
The identity of the victims, who comprised of three women, is yet to be established, police said.
