Four persons were today killed after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck near Omax City here, police said.
The incident took place when all four victims, riding on a single motorcycle, were crossing the road following which they were hit by the truck, a Sub-Inspector posted at Lasudia Police Station said.
While one of them died on the spot, the other three succumbed to their injuries at the government-run M Y Hospital.
The deceased are yet to be identified, he said, adding that the truck driver fled from the spot leaving behind the vehicle which was impounded by the police.
