Four killed in a collision between harvester and truck in MP

Four persons were killed and three others injured when a harvester collided with a truck on Indore-Ichapur state highway near Assergarh village here.

The identity of two deceased has been established, while remaining two are yet to be identified.

"A harvester collided with a truck near Assergarh village under Nimbola Police Station last night. Four persons were killed in this accident," Superintendent of Police (SP), Burhanpur, RRS Parihar said today.

"On the basis of the documents found with them, two deceased were identified as Jagdish Ahirwar, a resident of Rau (Indore) and Dhiraj Balmukund, a resident of Airan (Vidisha). They were travelling in the harvester," said the SP.
 

"Those who are yet to be identified include the driver of the truck and one more person travelling in the harvester," Parihar said.

The injured were admitted to hospital, police said.
