Four persons including two women were killed in a head-on collision of two auto-rickshaws at Kothapet village, 40 km from here, this evening.
Sircilla Deputy Superintendent of Police Damera Narsaiah said that both vehicles were at high speed, and the collision resulted in instantaneous death of K Durgaiah, D Bhoomaiah, D Yashoda and Kummari Taravva.
Durgaiah was driving one of the rickshaws.
Three others who were seriously injured were shifted to government hospital at Sircilla. Their condition was said to be stable.
