Four members of a family, including three children aged between 12 and 17 years, were today found dead in their house here, the police said.
According to a complaint lodged by a relative of the deceased, they were found dead at their residence on Ved Road near Katargam here.
"Prime facie, it is a case of suicide. However, the cause behind the extreme step can only be ascertained after postmortem," Katargam Police Sub Inspector (PSI) R J Chaudhry told PTI.

"The father was found hanging from the ceiling at his residence while the three children were found dead on the bed," the police said.
Magan Variya (45) and his three children namely Jayraj (17), Jaideep (15) and Hiral (12) took the extreme step allegedly because of loneliness and stress, Girdhar Variya, a relative of the deceased, said.
Magan's wife died last year and no suicide note was recovered from their home, the police said.
The police sent the bodies for post-mortem to Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research (SMIMER) to ascertain the exact cause of their deaths.
