Four Naxal supporters were arrested along with explosive materials in Chhattisgarhs t Sukma district, police said today.
The arrests were made by a joint team of the District Reserve Guard (DRG) and the District Force when it was out on an area domination operation in Bhejji police station area yesterday, a local police official told PTI.
The arrested Maoist supporters were identified as Buska Sodhi (37), Vanjami Manga (34), Sodhi Nanda (38) and Bhairam Singh (37), all hailing from Sukma district, around 390km from the state capital Raipur, he said.
A bag full of explosive materials was seized from them, the official said.
Ten gelatin rods, five electronic detonators, 10 non- electronic detonators, 10 meter cordex wire, a mobile handset, a couple of batteries, steel tiffin box and some other materials used in explosives were found in the bag, he said.
During interrogation, they confessed the explosive materials were to be supplied to Naxals on the instructions of a Maoist divisional committee member, Erra, the official said.
