Four of a marriage party killed in road mishap

Four persons of a marriage party were killed when their speeding car collided with a tree while returning to Badora village after having food at a roadside joint, police said today.

The incident took place last night when the victims including groom's brother got annoyed over some issue during the marriage function and refused to eat food in protest. They later went to a roadside joint and while returning to the village their speeding car dashed against a tree killing all four of them on the spot, Betul Bazar Police Station In- charge, Anoop Singh Nain said.

The car suffered extensive damages and its parts were found scattered few meters away from the spot, he said.
 

The deceased were identified as Vijendra Kaushik (24), Sanjay Dhote (35), Mukesh Raghuwanshi (24) and Omprakash Dhote (29), he said adding a case has been registered in this regard and further investigations were on.
