Family of Mahendra Patel, an insurance agent, seems to have committed suicide. Patel and her wife were found hanging from the house ceiling at Odhav, while their two kids prima facie appears to have been given some poisonous substance, police said.
It seems that the couple have committed suicide a few days back after giving some poisonous substance to the kids, and when foul smell started emanating, the neighbours complained to the police, they said.
"The reason behind the extreme step is not known. We have called experts from forensic science laboratory for investigations," an officer said, adding the bodies would be sent for post mortem and a case has been registered. PTI VKB PD ABC
