Four people killed in separate incidents in UP

Four people, including two youths, a 3-year-old girl and a farmer, were allegedly killed in separate incidents here, police said today.

In the first incident, 25-year-old Rashid was bludgeoned to death by another youth Sanjiv over financial matter at Dahkheri village under Sikhera police station area in the district yesterday, K B Singh, SSP Muzaffarnagar said.

"The victim was attacked by a blunt weapon (phawda) while working at the fields in the village, after having an altercation with the accused," Singh said.

A case has been registered against the accused and four others in the incident, police said, adding that the body has been sent for post mortem.
 

In the second incident, a 45-year-old farmer was allegedly shot dead over land dispute at Kasoli village yesterday.

A case has been registered in the incident and a Sanjiv has been arrested, police said.

In the third incident, a 3-year-old girl was allegedly stoned to death by her intoxicated uncle Sachin at Purkazi town in the district yesterday.

The culprit has been taken into custody, police informed.

In the last incident, body of a 28-year-old man was found with injury marks at Prasoli village in the district yesterday.

"It seems that the man was murdered and his body thrown away. The body is yet to be identified and investigation is on," police added.
