Four persons drown in separate incidents in Ajmer

Four persons including an infant girl drowned in two separate incidents in Rajasthan's Ajmer city, police said.

Five friends had gone for picnic at Ajaypal Kund in Ganj police station yesterday. Three of them drowned while swimming.

The deceased were identified as Rajendra, Raju Singh and Gajraj, all aged 30-35 years, they said.

In another incident, a seven-months-old girl got swept away in water flow near Dargah.

The minor identified as Manna, was with her parents and three-year-old brother when they got trapped in the water flow coming from hilly areas.

The mother could not hold the girl and she got swept away, police said adding, her body was recovered last night from near Railway station.
