The incident occurred when the bus from Kolhapur in Maharashtra skidded off the road while proceeding to Kedarnath from Gangotri. All the four pilgrims died on the spot.
The injured have been rushed to nearby Jakholi health centre where their condition is stable.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna expressed grief over the accident and prayed for early recovery of those injured.
