Four policemen were injured when miscreants attacked them at Sahara village in North 24 Parganas district today, police said.
A police team went to village after receiving complaints that a person was beaten up by a group of people. That police team was gheraoed by the those people, they said.
Later a big police team went to rescue the gheraoed policemen. The police team was then attacked by the miscreants who threw stones and bricks at them injuring four policemen, they said.
