Third Additional Sessions Judge Sujana Kalasikam convicted four murder case accused to rigorous imprisonment for life, here today.

According to Additional Public Prosecutor Mahajabeen, there were disputes between Gorla Rajesham (48) and his brothers, over landed property at Mothukupalli village under Husnabad police limits. Rajesham sold off the joint family property without informing his brothers.

The accused Gorla Ailaiah (45), Komuraiah (43), Rajaveeru (40), Sammaiah (35) and Gorla Nadipalli Komuraiah (50) allegedly murdered Rajesham by stabbing him in his cattle shed in Mothukupalli village on October 12, 2011 at 9.30 pm.

When his wife found Rajesham's body lying in a pool of blood next day, she filed a police complaint.

While pronouncing judgement, the judge convicted the four accused to life imprisonment and directed them to pay a fine of Rs 1000 each.

However, the court acquitted the fifth accused, Gorla Nadipalli Komuraiah (50), of the charge, after the prosecution failed to prove the case against him.
