Four people who were trapped in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, following heavy snowfall, have been rescued and search is on for another person.
"Four people out of five trapped in heavy snowfall in Khanbi-Bani forest area of the district have been rescued. Search for another person is on," Deputy Commissioner of Kathua Ramesh Kumar said today.
They had gone to the forest but were trapped in the heavy snowfall two days ago, he said.
