Four weapons, reportedly

belonged to Maoists, were recovered from a house in Adgawana village in Nawada district today.

Acting on a tip off, police raided the house and seized three country-made rifles and a double barrel gun, Deputy Superintendent of Police Safiur Rahman said.

The weapons reportedly belonged to a group of Maoists who had come to the village to collect levy from a contractor, he said, adding the ultras escaped by taking advantage of thick fog.
