A four-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a 22-year-old youth in suburban Oshiwara here, police said today.
The accused, Salman Hafeez, who was arrested today, kidnapped the child yesterday from near her Oshiwara residence and took her to an isolated area where he raped her, police said.
The child was later rescued and rushed to Cooper hospital here where she is said to be in a critical condition.
On August 22, a 23-year-old photojournalist was gangraped by five men at the defunct Shakti Mills compound in Parel area here, when she had gone there for on assignment with a male colleague.
