Frameless tank wagons soon for Railways

Frameless tank wagons built by the the Golden Rock Railway Workshop here will soon be supplied to Indian Railways. These tank wagons weigh only 23.3 tonnes compared to 27 tonnes of conventional tank wagons and can haul more oil and save a lot of money on transport of oil, a press release said. The Workshop has so far manufactured 35,000 wagons of different types, it said.
