In a case fratricide, a Junior Commissioner Officer (JCO) of Rashtriya Rifles was allegedly shot dead by a soldier inside a camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district.
JCO Rajinder Singh, a resident of Uttarakhand, was gunned down by sepoy Satish Kumar following a heated argument over some issue at their camp in Kokernag, 80 kms from here, last evening, police sources said today.
Kumar was on sentry duty inside the camp when he fired upon the JCO from his service rifle, they said.
The other jawans overpowered Kumar and shifted the critically injured JCO to hospital where he was declared brought dead, the sources added.
