A complaint has been filed by Delhi Jal Board against an unidentified person for hosting a fraudulent website in the name of the Board.
"It has come to the notice of Delhi Jal Board that a fraudulent website 'www.Delhijalbard.In' is being hosted by someone. DJB has lodged an FIR in this regard," the DJB said in its statement.
Currently, the Delhi Jal Board has two websites -- 'www.Delhijalboard.Nic.In' and 'www.Djb.Gov.In'.
The first website contains all the information about the organisation linked with Government of NCT of Delhi and second hosts information about water bills, its payment and various other facilities online.
"All DJB's consumers are therefore, cautioned not to access any other website except the official website of Delhi Jal Board i.E. Www.Delhijalboard.Nic.In linked with Government of NCT of Delhi and www.Djb.Gov.In for various facilities online," it said.
