Freecharge to manage Snapdeal's Capital Assist Program

Snapdeal's merchant lending program- Capital Assist will now be managed by Freecharge.

Under the new arrangement, sellers on Snapdeal, Shopo and Freecharge will be able to access working capital in a time efficient and cost effective manner to grow their businesses.

Capital Assist, launched by Snapdeal in August 2014, enables banks & NBFCs to provide working capital to sellers based on their performance and track record at Snapdeal's marketplace. It has signed up with 25 financial institutions including SBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Yes Bank.

86,000 students compete in TCS Software Testing Contest * Tata Consultancy Services today announced today that more than 86,000 college students across India competed in the fourth edition of TCS Software Assurance Contest, TESTimony.
 

"This year, the contest witnessed more than 86,000 registrations from 10 regions in India. The 10 finalist teams contested for the top three spots at the TESTimony 2016 grand finale in Pune," TCS said in a statement.

Launched in 2013 by TCS, TESTimony, a game-based software testing contest.

Huawei, SOS Children's Village India join hands for CSR * Huawei India today announced its CSR partnership program Daksha with SOS Children's Villages India to support education and child welfare.

As a part of the Daksha program, Huawei India connects with 982 children to support quality education for children living in 10 SOS of India across Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Telengana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
