Choudhry, who was the president of Uttarakhand Swantantrata Senani Sangathan, is survived by his wife, family sources said.
His cremation will take place here tomorrow, they said.
Besides taking part in India's freedom struggle which saw him being jailed for 10 months in 1941, Choudhry also played an active role in Vinoba Bhave's Bhoodan movement.
