95-year-old Ram Jiwan had joined INA in 1940 and had undergone imprisonment in erstwhile Rangoon and Multan jails while fighting for freedom.
He is survived by his wife Bhoorli Devi, two sons and three daughters.
His mortal remains were consigned to the flames with state honours today.
