Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations dropped by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following ample availability of trucks amid restricted cargo movements.
Transporters said, easy position of trucks in the market along with restricted cargo movements, led to the fall in freight rates for some destinations.
Delhi to Jaipur and Chandigarh freight rates moved down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 17,000 and Rs 18,000, respectively.
Rates to Gwalior and Hyderabad also went down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 15,000 and Rs 57,000, respectively.
