Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations dropped by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market today following heavy availability of trucks and limited cargo movements.
Transporters said easy position of trucks in the market
against tight cargo movements, mainly pulled down some of centres freight rates.
Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Hyderabad freight rates
moved down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 16,000, Rs 18,000 and Rs 57,000.
Rates to Ludhiana, Indore and Mysore also went down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 20,000, Rs 23,000 and Rs 66,000.
