Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for Bengaluru and Mysuru rose by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following tight availability of trucks against pick-up in cargo movements.
Transporters said besides a pickup in cargo movements, tight availability of trucks mainly led to rise in Bengaluru and Mysuru freight rates.
Freight rates from Delhi to Bengaluru and Mysuru were quoted higher by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 62,000 and Rs 67,000 respectively.
