Freight rates for nine tonne load for select centres quoted higher by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today following busy cargo movements against tight availability of trucks.
Transporters said busy cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly led to rise in select centre freight rates.
Freight rates from Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Ludhiana were quoted higher by Rs 500 each to Rs 19,500, Rs 21,000 and Rs 22,000 respectively.
