Freight rates for nine tonne load for select destinations dropped by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today following ample position of trucks against cargo movements.
Transporters said easy availability of trucks against cargo movement mainly pulled down some centres' freights.
Delhi to Indore and Kanpur freights eased by Rs 500 each to Rs 23,000 and Rs 22,000.
Rates to Baroda and Surat freight rates also moved down by Rs 500 each to Rs 26,000 and Rs 28,000.
