French Ambassador-Designate to India Alexandre Ziegler today called on Lt Governor Kiran Bedi at Raj Nivas here.
Bedi held discussions with the visiting envoy on the partnership between India and France in several sectors, including urban planning, heritage, tourism and conservation, officials said.
French Consul General in Puducherry, a former French colony, Phillippe Janvier Kamiyama accompanied the Ambassador Designate during the talks.
