A 73-year-old French woman tourist, staying in a private hotel here, died following illness at a government hospital in the wee hours today.
The woman, identified as, A Mischell was rushed to PBM hospital's trauma centre here where the doctors declared her brought dead, police said.
The body has been kept in mortuary, they said, adding that the French embassy was informed of the incident.
The woman was staying in a hotel in the city with a group of other tourists, police added.
