This information was given to the Lok Sabha by minister of state in the I&B ministry C M Jatua in response to an unstarred question.

"While taking action for implementation of the Phase III policy, a few issues like charging of migration fee from existing permission holders, specific departures in the Request For Proposals (RFP), etc., which are not covered under the Phase III policy have arisen," Jatua's reply said.

He added that as this was the first time that private FM radio channels were being e-auctioned, some other issues required for taking decisions were also expected to emerge.

"The Draft Cabinet note in this regard has already been circulated to all the concerned ministries/departments," it said.
