"I was thrown out of the school when I raised the issue but no action was taken against him. Now he (accused) has been appointed as Principal of Navodaya Vidhyala in UP's Lalitpur. This is shocking and the appointment should be cancelled," she said at a press conference here.
People's Union for Civil Liberties also demanded stern action against the accused and also forwarded a letter to Commissioner of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in Noida, demanding cancellation of the appointment which was made in November last year.
"Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti refused to check his antecedents before appointing him," PUCL General Secretary Kavita Srivastava has written in the letter.
While the commissioner could not be contacted, Army authorities claim that the said person resigned as the Principal of the school on his own accord to take a new assignment.
The case against the principal is currently in session court of Jaipur.
