'Frozen's 'Let It Go' win best original song, 'Gravity' score

Hit Disney animated film Frozen's power packed ballad 'Let It Go' won the coveted golden statuette in the best original song category while the best original score went to "Gravity".

With the music and lyrics from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, 'Let it go' was performed in the movie by the Tony Award winning singer Idina Menzel. This is the first Oscar for Menzel.

'Let it go' won over Pharrell Williams 'Happy', Karen O's 'The Moon Song' and U2's 'Ordinary Love', which were all in the race for the best original song.

Steven Price from "Gravity" won in the best original score for him background score in the 3D space drama, directed by Alfonso Cuaron.
