The Police today arrested an instructor of the Bhubanananda Odisha School of Engineering (BOSE), who had gone underground after being booked for alleged sexual harassment and outraging modesty of a student.
Police officers said Sinha, who went underground since the allegations were made against him last Monday, was on his way to surrender before the Court on the day.
But the local Mangalabag police intercepted and took him under custody, they said adding, he was later produced before the court of the SDJM here in the evening from where he was released on bail.

"An assessment committee of the school has pegged the loss due to student rampage between Rs 3.5 and 4 lakh," claimed the school principal Mr P K Mohanty.
Meanwhile, normalcy returned to the school campus today and classes were held as usual without any untoward incident.
However, police deployment inside the campus continues as a precautionary measure, said Mangalabag police inspector Mr A K Swain.
