Leading photography and imaging company Fujifilm today announced a tie-up with Sri Ramachandra University here to install a breast cancer diagnostic machine at the varisty.
"Fujifilm India and SRMC today announced their tie up for the installation of the state-of-the-art Amulet Innovality, a highly advanced breast cancer diagnostic machine," a company press release said today.
The installation of Amulet Innovality at SRMC would give patients access to best early derection screening facilities.

The machine provides 50 Micron 3D image quality that reveals the internal structure of the breast with a precision that enables the detection of those lesions that ordinarily get overlooked in mammography, it claimed.
According to a study undertaken by Ernst and Young, more than 50 per cent of the breast cancer patients were diagnosed too late and there was lack of awareness regarding the disease among people, the release said.
The study also revealed that less than one per cent of Indian women between 40 and 69 years participate in breast screening programme every two years as against 30 per cent in China and 65 per cent in the United States, it added.
"It is a known fact that late diagnosis results in slimming of the chances of survival. It is therefore vital for healthcare providers to step up and provide women the best early detection screening facilities," Fujifilm India, Managing Director, Yasunobu Nishiyama said.
"At Fujifilm, we are continuously innovating and the Amulet Innovality is one such product that has made early detection of breast cancer," he added.
