Fynd raises Series C funding from Google, others

Fashion e-commerce company Fynd today said it has closed its series C round of funding led by technology giant Google besides other investors.

The company did not divulge details of the amount secured.

The latest round of funding will enable the platform to further enhance the way it engages with consumers and retailers in a better way, the company said in a statement.

Other investors who participated are Kae Capital, IIFL, Singularity Ventures, GrowX, Tracxn Labs, Venture Catalyst, Patni family office and Hong Kong based Axis Capital, among other angel investors.

"Our vision is to revolutionise the online and offline shopping experience across all channels and customer touch points... the capital raised will help us further bolster our growth trajectory," Fynd co-founder Harsh Shah said.

 

Last year, the company closed a funding of USD 3.4 million with participation from IIFL Seed Ventures, Venture Catalyst and others.

Of the total amount, IIFL Seed Ventures had invested USD 2.4 million.
