Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today announced to start ropeway transport system between Dhaula Kuan in Delhi and Mansesar via Gurgaon in Haryana.
Estimated per kilometer cost of this project would be Rs 50 crore as compared to Rs 350 crore per kilometer of Metro. Based on new technology, it would help in decongestion of traffic and provide facility to the people of Haryana and Delhi, Gadkari said.
He also announced that road projects worth Rs 25,000 crore would be executed in Haryana by the end of this year.

He said that road projects worth Rs 16,000 crore had already been started in the state.
The Union Minister also announced 150 km four lane National Highway project from Hisar to Bathinda via Adampur, Fatehabad, Ratia, Mansa. It would be made of concrete.
He said that Express highway from Delhi to Katra via Ludhiana and Amritsar would also be constructed.
Describing industries, agriculture and service sector as three important components for development of nation, he said that service sector contributes 62-64 per cent in GDP whereas industry and agriculture contributes 22-24 per cent and 14-16 per cent respectively.
Referring to the menace of corruption prevailing in Regional Transport Offices, he urged the Chief Minister to look into this and keep a tap on the same.
He also offered the Chief Minister to have 200 driving schools set up where computer based test would be conducted for getting driving licenses.
Gadkari said that contract had been made with Cement factories to get rid of heavy cost of cement.
Under this contract, per bag cement would cost between Rs 120 and 140. He also offered the State Government to take benefit from Union Government for undertaking their development projects.
