Former BJP president Nitin Gadkari today trashed media reports, which quoted a purported tweet by him to claim that Kiran Bedi will be party's chief ministerial candidate in the Delhi assembly polls.
"The purported tweet is the handy work of a Parody account and has got nothing to do with me or my Twitter account or the BJP. The report generated from the Parody account may please be dismissed with the contempt such misuse of the social media deserves," he said in a statement.
The twitter handle from which the tweet was sent also says that it's a Parody account.
The tweet had said, "BJP ready for Delhi polls, Kiran Bedi will be CM candidate against Kejriwal".
