Gadkari's company alleges attempts of computer hacking

City-based Purti Power and Sugar Ltd, owned by senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari, has lodged a complaint that attempts were made to hack its computer network.

In a complaint with Ganeshpeth Police Station, group's General Manager (Legal) and Company Secretary Subodh Zare has said that its computer systems were suffering from slow networking problem and frequent breakdowns.

The group has demanded an investigation by the Cyber Crime Department, a police release said.
