Police today cracked down a major gambling den which operated from a private house here.
At least a dozen gamblers were arrested and cash around Rs 6.47 lakh seized from them. Police also seized five motorbikes, 11 mobile sets and some playing cards from the spot.
Another gambler however managed to escape from the spot while police raided the house.
The house owner was also arrested for allowing them to gamble in his house, police said.
