Gammon Infrastructure Projects Ltd's arm Pravara Renewable Energy Ltd (PREL) has commissioned its 30 MW bagasse based cogeneration power project at Pravaranagar in Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra.

"... And started the commercial production of electricity and export of power to state grid," Gammon Infrastructure Projects said in a BSE filing.
PREL has signed the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd for 13 years on the preferential tariff as decided by Maharashtra State Electricity Regulatory Commission from time to time, it added.
