Three auto lifters were arrested and 29 stolen motorcycles were recovered here, police said today.
The gang was busted by a police team led by Station House Officer at Mohanganj Police Station D K Singh and Sub Inspector Raj Keshar Singh, Superintendent of Police Anurag Ary said.
The accused were identified as Ramesh Passi, Kamruddin and Subhash Chandra.
They have confessed to the crime and told police that bikes were stolen from different places including Amethi and Raebareli districts.
The SP has announced a cash award of Rs 10,000 to the police team.
