Gang of auto thieves busted, 12 stolen motorcycles recovered

Police today claimed to have busted a gang of auto thieves with the arrest of two persons and recovered 12 stolen motorcycles from them.

Acting on a tip off, the two auto thieves were arrested from Bisruk village last night, Ashwini Kumar, Station House Officer (SHO), said.

The thieves have been identified as Pradeep and Arun, he said.

Opon interrogation, they revealed that they are members of a gang of auto thieves, the SHO said, adding that police has recovered 12 stolen motorcycles from them.

They confessed to have committed over two dozen auto thefts in Greater Noida and adjoining areas, he said.
