A gang of eve-teasers, who had been stalking a 16-year-old girl for the last three months, attacked the victim's house, after her relatives lodged a police complaint against them.

Nandigama DSP D Hussein said that a three-member eve-teasing gang had been stalking and harassing a 16-year-old intermediate student for the last three months at Takkellapadu village of Chillakallu mandal in Krishna district.

Enraged after the victim's parents and relatives lodged a police complaint against them yesterday, the eve-teasers along with seven others attacked the victim's residence and injured one of her relatives today.

The police have arrested ten eve-teasers and registered a case against them under Section 354.

After hearing about the incident, a large number of activists from women's organisations and villagers converged at the victim's house and demanded that criminal cases be registered against the culprits.
